Hi guys,
As I wrote in previous post I was going to have a few days of work so now I'm back for a new week of work.
Both days was partly spent on water together with a good friend of mine. He comes every summer/autumn and makes his only fishing days of the year together with me. First day was spent in west part of archipelago. We begun good and soon enough both of us caught a handful of pikes. Most of them in size between 60-80cm and caught around islands with plenty of sea weed, rocks and other pike prefered bottoms.
As usual we competed against each other in numbers and after first day I won with 19 pikes caught while David caught 15. Good numbers and David caught a beauty close to be his new PB (see picture below).
Next day we went east to hopefully catch a monster. A lazy morning at home delayed our plans and we didn't go out until 11:30 or something like that. Fishing started out a bit slow but before our late lunch we were up to about 10 pikes, still no monsters.
We didn't fish for to long on our second day but we both got in contact with big fish. David lost a nice fish of 85cm just by the boat and I managed to catch a beauty which you can see on pictures below. We ended up with 47 pikes caught during our days on the water and experienced pikes to prefer small lures (10-18cm) more than big ones. We mainly used Relax 6'', Wolf Tail Jr, McRubber Jr & Real eel 20-30cm.
Upcoming weekend is our first of autumn fishing season and a few groups will try their luck out there and many many more groups to come in September-November. Actually we receive booking request daily now for fishing packages and a few weekends starts to be close to fully booked. Great fun!!
